In this post I explain how to extend the standard 3-day Shopify trial to a much more generous 3-month period. This gives you more than enough time to try out the platform and — thanks to a small $1 per month fee — at a price that keeps your store build affordable.

About the Shopify 3 months for $1 offer

Shopify is a leading ecommerce solution, allowing anyone to set up an online store easily. But using it involves ongoing fees, and — particularly if you’re a startup or a small business — it makes sense to keep these as low as possible.

A key way to do this is to make use of the ‘Shopify 3 months for $1’ offer, which — depending on your chosen plan — can save you hundreds of dollars on your ecommerce platform bill while you put your online store together

And the good news is that Style Factory — as an official Shopify affiliate partner — can currently offer readers easy access to this special plan via our website (and better yet, a version of it that works with all the Shopify plans except ‘Shopify Plus’).

However, I should add that this offer is being trialled, and may only be available for a limited period — so if you’re interested, it’s best to avail of it soon.

Below you’ll find full instructions on how to access the plan. Enjoy — and feel free to pass this offer onto others.

The first thing you’ll need to do to access the $1 per month plan is to use Style Factory’s special signup link. To do this, simply click here.

Then, click the ‘Start for free’ button to continue the sign-up process.

Step 2: choose your signup method

Next, you’ll see a box that lets you choose your sign up method — email, Google, Apple or Facebook. Pick the method that’s right for you, and follow the instructions provided.

Step 3: Enter your card details

You’ll now be prompted to enter your card details — doing so activates your three months for $1 trial. Note that you can cancel at any point during this three-month period, avoiding any future Shopify fees.

Step 4: Enter your selling requirements

You’ll then be asked to answer a few simple questions about what you’d like to sell on your new Shopify store.

Just supply the necessary information and click the ‘Next’ buttons to move along the setup process (if you want to skip these questions, that’s also an option).

Step 5: Complete your Shopify free trial and enjoy three months for $1

At this point, you’ve got access to your extended Shopify trial and your $1 per month offer!

If you don’t want to continue with Shopify, remember to cancel your trial before three months elapse — or you will get charged the regular monthly fees after that.

Shopify $1 for 3 months offer — FAQ

How do I get 3 months for $1 on Shopify?

To get three months access to Shopify for $1/mo, you’ll need to start a free trial using our partner link.

How much is the cheapest Shopify plan?

The cheapest Shopify plan is the ‘Starter’ plan, which costs $5 per month. This lets you sell on social media or on an existing website / blog, but doesn’t let you create a customizable standalone store (i.e., it gives you a very basic storefront that you can display products on, but doesn’t let you work with any other type of content). It also comes with rather high transaction fees (5%).

Can I use Shopify for free?

You can try Shopify for free for 3 days, after which you will need to pay for a subscription. The best way to do this is via the extended trial discussed in this article, which lets you use the platform for just $1 per month for three months.

How much does Shopify cost?

Shopify costs between $5 (for its Starter plan) and $2,300 per month (if you’re on its Shopify Plus enterprise plan). Most new merchants start off on Shopify’s Basic plan, which costs $39 per month (if paid for on a monthly basis).

What can I sell on Shopify?

You can sell anything on Shopify that’s legal in your country and that doesn’t violate Shopify’s acceptable use policy. For some ideas on what to sell, check out our ‘Things to sell on Shopify’ guide.

Can I cancel Shopify after three months?

You can cancel your Shopify plan at any time (or use its ‘Pause and Build’ service to reduce your monthly outgoings to $9 per month while you work on a non-live store). However, Shopify doesn’t provide refunds, so if you’re paying for your account on an annual basis, this is something to give particular consideration to.
